There is usually some poor senior citizen in the queue ahead of you, getting fobbed off about why their TV has not been fixed, despite being in the shop for a couple of months. I put a DVD/Video player in and it was eventually returned to me in pieces about 8 weeks later. I took it to a place in Clydebank where they told me in 5 minutes it had an irreparable fault. When I handed it to him (in bits), the guy at Clydebank just said, 'C and G?'. The Fawlty Towers of electronics repair. I honestly don't think they fix anything.
