- Angela Prentner-smith Review added: 2018.05.11★ ★ ★ ★ ★I think this place has been underrated. It's a great wee spot to take kids. Menu is very varied and they are great for gluten free. Separate menu with safe foods and everything I ordered came out labelled as gluten free.

We were given a nice booth by the window and two menus filled with a great food selection.
We got to examine the menus for around ten minutes before someone finally stopped at our table to take our order. This interaction was pleasant enough until the waitress finished taking our order as her smile immediately disappeared and she looked quite annoyed.
A second waitress appeared with our drinks soon after, and once we had finished these, the food arrived (via a third waitress). Time for a free drink refill!
The food was excellent, very tasty and we were both full upon finishing. The third waitress seemed to be dealing with our table now as she cleared out plates away and brought us our bill.
For two (four?) soft drinks, a burger with extra fries and a hot dog plate we would have been £28.21which is acceptable for the quality of food, thankfully NUS cards are accepted here which will get you the cheapest meal for free so we were only £20 in the end.
Once the money and tip were on the tray waitress number one appeared again. She took the money away and said goodbye to us as we left.
My overall impressions of this place are very good. Service seems a little chaotic at times and other reviewers seem to agree with this, but all three of the waitresses were pleasant and mostly attentive. Service did seem to speed up as it became quieter in the diner so perhaps another body to help out would be useful during the busy periods.
I'd definitely visit again.
