I took my car in for work to be carried out, and after several days I get a call saying my car is ready. It would have been nice if they had called first with a quote, but I can only surmise that I give the impression of being someone who is fairly affluent (or gullible) given that they had carried out several hundred pounds worth of work without first asking my permission to go ahead. Good job for them I had the funds! Would also have been nice if they had shown me what they had done in some detail, rather than just taking my money and chucking me the keys, I might then have had something positive to say. Maybe I just expect too much from businesses whom I grace with my custom. Suffice to say, this particular business will no longer be graced, and I will not be recommending them to anyone.
