That being said, I actually do enjoy Taco Bell. It is flavorful but standardized. You know what it is going to taste like every time and you know you are going to enjoy It every time.
It is not gourmet, or even authentic, but it is so far the best Tex-Mex or anything resembling Mexican food I have found in Glasgow. To be fair I am from California so my standards for Mexican food are higher for Mexican restaurants. But the restaurants around here use white rice instead of Spanish rice! They also put ham in the black beans... But I digress...
This Taco Bell is the first in Scotland so it is modern and clean, but it is also crowded and large orders take a long time. Be prepared to wait.
The staff is very friendly and professional. The restaurant is well located on Sauchiehall and comfortable but small. The food is good and consistent. So far my go to place when I crave a burrito.
